Our middle schoolers are taking on an exciting challenge—raising funds to unlock amazing rewards for their entire grade! The more they raise, the bigger the prize! Each grade has its own fundraising total, and as they hit milestones, they’ll earn awesome experiences like: Movie Night in the PAC, Pizza Party, Middle School Field Day, Make-Your-Own Raman Bar & more.

This kid-favorite pop-up is stocked with all kinds of fun finds: squishies, pencils, erasers, notepads, keychains, and more. Books + BOGO = Best. Fair. Ever. This year’s Scholastic Book Fair offers “Buy One, Get One Free” deals on everything from chapter books to graphic novels and early readers. It’s the event everyone’s talking about! Our spring Block Party is Thursday, May 15th, and you’re invited to kick back and enjoy an evening of community fun. We’ll have local food trucks, live music from Josh Breden and Adam G, and a live look at our Experience Auction items and some raffle prizes. This is a chill, bring-a-chair, hang-with-your-neighbors kind of night. Come let the kids play, catch up with friends, and celebrate!

May 29th & 30th – Elementary Book Swap

Out with the old reads, in with the new (to you)! Students can bring in gently used books they’ve outgrown and swap them for fresh titles from other readers in the building. It’s the perfect way to refresh their bookshelf before summer. No cost—just a love of reading and a few well-loved books ready to find a new home.  More information will be emailed home in mid-May.

Science + Tech + Creativity = YES, PLEASE!  The Mobile STEAM Lab is rolling into VES with hands-on fun for kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade classrooms! It’s one of our students’ favorite days of the year—and even more exciting when families join the fun. Into circuits? Curious about coding? Love seeing kids light up as they learn?
